Crafted for the earth-connected woman, the Ahi dress is a one-of-a-kind piece made from a structured ramie-cotton blend, thicker and more sculptural than our bamboo satin version. Each dress is hand-dyed using the ancient eco-print technique, where real leaves are pressed onto the fabric in rural Indonesia, resulting in a rich botanical tapestry. No two dresses are ever the same.
Our tailors:
The people who sew our clothes once endured relentless quotas from fast fashion factories, long hours, and low wages. Today, collaboration with our brand allows them to work regular hours and earn three times the national average for garment workers. This shift enables them to live fulfilling lives outside work, crafting each piece with care and intention.
Our dyers:
All of our dyeing for this collection is done by a family business in rural Java. Each morning, the father ventures into the jungle near their village, often followed by his children, to gather the leaves and plants needed for that day's eco printing. Each day, the family transforms around five pieces of fabric into botanical art, each print completely unique.
